Sketching some characters for a new film project.

Another Weekly Art Challenge submission: Create a new race of people/creatures.

Wunderbears are a race of bear-like mammals known for their vibrant coloring and odd dress. Because of their garish looks, the Wunderbears easily find work as musicians and performers. With their powerful muscles, many work as farmers or fishermen. At birth, each Wunderbear receives a full body tattoo which serves as a sort of family crest. Many Wunderbears attribute social status and future occupation to this as well.

Despite their cheery disposition, many Wunderbear carry a certain sadness about them. For all of the attention that they receive, some wish that they could just look a bit more normal.

Please Silence Your Cell Phones

Not very happy with these. I think they start off okay, but by the end, I am rushing things and the drawings lose their appeal, but part of the point of this blog is to post the good and the bad. Onward and upward!

Current Storyboard Project is Almost Done

Almost done! A little snapshot of how I wish people who fiddle with their cell phones during a movie are dealt with. Should be up tomorrow.
