"Sand Castle"

This is a story about a boy who defends his sand castle from the rising tide.

When I started this, it was only supposed to be 10 frames or so, but when I got started more ideas just kept coming. By the end of it, the story was 60 frames!

This was an interesting project because I was trying to focus on speed and keeping loose with all of my drawings. I don't have a Cintiq anymore so these were drawn on a tiny Wacom Bamboo Tablet. It's a cute little guy, but it definitely makes it more difficult to keep your drawing nice and loose. C'est la vie!

It's been a while since I've done some logo work, so when my brother and sister-in-law asked me to design the logo for their new baby clothing store, I jumped at the chance.

Either way, they're happy, so I'm happy :)
