I worked as a prop modeler on this animated short, which was finished in just 15 weeks.
This cellar is chock-full o' stuff. It smells kind of funny too.

Mickey Mouse Fantasia
So I went to the Walt Disney Family Museum here in San Francisco yesterday, and it was just fantastic! So fantastic that I felt compelled to paint something after seeing the wonderful exhibits.
I love Mary Blair's work, and I thought it might be fun to try it out myself.

Second Take on Tom Elowitz
Here's my second take on the character Tom Elowitz from the story that I'm writing. Overall, I'm liking this design over the first.
In the first design, Tom was too clean-cut looking. I was using Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra as reference, but it didn't seem to fit. For this design, I used Stan Laurel and Roger Radcliffe (101 Dalmations) as reference.

A New Project - First Take on Tom Elowitz
I've been itching to do some more writing/storyboarding, so I've been at it writing a story.
Currently, I've been writing a film tentatively called "Make Someone Happy", inspired by the Jimmy Durante song of the same name (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flvGmVgwkWk).
The film follows Tom Elowitz, a young toy maker, who just wants to make people happy with his toys and overall jovial demeanor.
